Tried at MTF, no luck. I need to make a new driveshaft to fit the GX690, and I picked up the u-joints and a 1" solid bar from TSC. Question is, will this affect the performance of the tractor at all? Should I pick up 1" hollow thick walled tubing instead?

think of flywheel weight which is on the out side does affect performance, the inner weight barely does anything
