Curious to know exactly how tight the wheel and bearing stackup is to the c-clip groove? Have the metric wheels, new bearings, and powder coated wheels. Could the powder coating be heavy enough to prevent the c-clip from getting to the groove for proper seating. Working out the kinks in my resto and the right wheel would have popped off had I not noticed the wobble. Thinking I should take a die grinder with a sanding disc, remove the bearings, and remove the excess coating if this is the case. Looks like it can't be more than .020 to get the c-clip down for piece of mind.
