Lee basically you just need to take the fender pan and gas tank off and go through your linkage and get as much play out of the linkage as possible. Just a little bit can make a huge difference. I went through most of mine and it made a huge difference. I still have a few more to go through.

Once the play is removed from the linkage-you need to center it so it doesn't creep yet. Takes some fine tuning but well worth it.

Justin, Dan, B.A., and Chuck,
Thanks for the info. I haven't messed with the creep yet. What about steering? Is it normal for the steering wheel to not be in the same position all the time? I don't know how to explain what Im talking about, I hope you all understand.

Lee,

Yes, the steering wheel does not have a fixed relationship with the steering angle/position of the front wheels due to the hydraulic power steering. Even if your steering wheel does not spin rather freely without moving the spindle angle (as is the case for some tractors with imperfect check valves on occasion when the engine is not running...) there is some hysteresis at the end of travel when the front wheel assemblies come up on the stops at full lock.

It makes it a bit of a bother for the steering knobs we sometimes add for one-handed steering, as their position is not always the same when the tractor is moving along a straight line...
