I noticed on my recently purchased 420 that when I bring the hydrostat lever back to neutral from forward the tractor continues to roll and it does the same for reverse. It's like it is coasting freely when it goes to neutral position on the hydrostat lever. When I am mowing up an incline I will have to push the hydro lever forward more to get up the incline as if its losing its forward motion then it will take off faster at the top of the incline. Is there and adjustment I need to make or is there another issue with the hysdrostat that I should be aware of??

search forum for creep

you most likely have slop in the hydro linkage which causes it. take off seat pan and look for anything not tight
