318 pan should work for you too, you just have to cut the holes for the two-speed & differential lock! ~~ Lowell

I disagree. I put a 420 pan on my 318, in order to install the 2 speed locking rear end. The ONLY difference between the two pans is that the 420/430 one has the extra holes punched in it. It is most definitely NOT any wider anywhere! Or longer, or anything. All the mounting holes lined up, and no issues at all (except that the powder coat paint on the 420/430 pan is flaking and needs to be repainted).

I think the extra width of the 400 series tractors is all at the front.

All I can say for sure is that mine came from a different model, as I had to cut the holes in it for the differential lock & two-speed lever. But I was told by the seller it was from a 300 series!

Because my 332 pans were either cracked or bend I found a 420/430 pan for each. It was easier to cut the notches in them around the dash then to fix the old pans. I have the two spd/locking diff so it helped with making those holes straight as well. Now I used one of the old damaged fender pans for the cozy cab with the holes drilled into them.

I can tell you for a FACT that they are the exact same size...........I recently had my 430 seat pan sand blasted along with a 318 seat pan...........we made the mistake of stacking them on top of each other when I picked them up..........I like to never got them apart.
