Have everything mounted up, but cannot tell from the schematic where the individual leads go. Have the original onan rectifier, but cannot see any lead markings on it. I imagine the stator leads can go either way, but not sure about the third. Pictures are always welcome. thanks.

I found out the hard way that some aftermarket rectifiers have a different connection pattern. Don't know if that applies to you but it made me tear whats left of my hair for a while.

out side terms are usually stator, middle one is +

After market ones can have + on any term

There is usually a + or a "B" marked somewhere near one of the terminals, perhaps pressed into the epoxy. That's the important one as you're right that the other two can work either way.
