Guys,
Before I reinstall the springs and star adjuster, brake shoes and brake drums I am looking for any tips that will make it easier to make sure everything is greased properly to make any future disassembly easy. I was really fortunate to be able to disassemble all of the components with ease. I have read some real horror stories of difficulties of removing just the brake drums which I did not have. The brake pads are virtually new and have plenty of pad surface [barely even used]. I purchased new springs and star adjusters. Cleaned all surface rust on everything. Do you guys have any specific recommendations as to what grease [name please] to use on the axles or other bearings surfaces as I reassemble? I was fortunate as none of the axle seals showed any evidence of leaking. Please feel free to weigh in with any info. and or tips. I am all ears!
