Recently my 430 has been difficult to start when the tractor is cold. And when I turn the key to the on position the glow plug light doesn't go out. It does turn off once the tractor is warmed up. And on restarts it starts good!
I went ahead and replaced all 3 glow plugs because I found them fairly cheap on fleabay. But as my luck would have it, it didn't fix the problem. I'm new to diesels and am not sure where to go next. I tried doing some research but wasn't having much luck.
Thanks you in advance,
Josh

I don't really rely on the lights. Check that there is power to the glow plugs and what the voltage is. If below 11 volts then look at a relay kit. It goes through a few connections on the tractor and the relay gets it more direct to the battery. If that is good-check your fleabay plugs are actually good. Even new parts can be bad. The glow plug modual could also be going bad. Chuck would have to step on to answer how to check that.

I'll bring my meter home from work tomorrow and start trying to track down the cause.
