Are you talking of something you would put into the system that would make a leak go away? Often those are things that would make the seals swell some. Isn't fixing the issue-just putting a bandaid on it. Mechanical seals (i.e. lip seals) have a certain life on them. Sometimes they also groove the shaft they are on so a different position is required on the shaft to seal. O-rings get flat, brittle and cracked and they also leak with time. For around $200 and a days work you can replace the majority of seals that will cause issue on the system and be good for another 1000 hours/couple decades.
