When I move the hydro speed lever to 100% it falls back to 75%. I then have to hold it to keep it at full speed. It takes some force to keep it there. Has anyone had this problem? Please advise.
I'll look tomorrow at the damper. Thank you to all who submit answers to these questions. I've learned more about my 430 since I joined WFM then I did in the 6 years of ownership.
The dampener just slows your hand down so things are jerky. The friction disk is what holds it tight and in one spot. If you have enough load on the hydro it does want to pull back the lever if there isn't enough pressure.
