I have 2 48" decks from 317 tractors.
One of the decks has wheels in all 4 corners and 2 roller wheels. This is the deck that I want to use.

I pulled the blades and sharpened them. They are gator blades.

But middle bearing makes a bit of noise.

Can I lubricate these bearings? I did not see any grease fittings on the deck.

The bearings are a sealed greaseless bearing. You just have to replace them. Or now this will probably get a frown or 2 you might be able to drill a small hole in the side of the bearing and use a needle bearing tip on a grease gun to give it a little grease but it's probably better to just replace

Is this a specific deere part I need to get?
Or is it a standard bearing I need to replace?

Since I do have 2 48" decks I could rebuild the good one while I use the old one...
