I'm under the impression that the belt-driven 50" decks for the 300 series tractors are all the same ... is that correct? Thanks, Bryan.

There is a shallow deck and a deep deck.

Are the spindles/pulleys, belts, belt shields, draft arms, etc all the same?

I have had 4 50 inch decks, two of them were bought new in the early 90s with 318 and 322. I was not aware they ever made a shallow deck. I still have two yet today. they are all the same, Deep deck. I believe the spindles, pulleys, belt shields, draft arms, etc are all the same

the 316 onan 318,330,322,332 take different draft arms then the 300 312 314 316K 317

Thanks to all for the feedback. Was just looking at parts catalogs ... the outside spindle & hub appears to be the same between the 200-series 46" deck, 300-series 46" deck, 50" belt-driven deck, & the 50" gearbox-driven deck ... correct?
