The blade on a 5x rider works surprisingly well with light snow on level sidewalks and driveways. With weight of the engine and operator over the rear wheels traction is very good. My blade was almost NOS and the rubber squeegee edge was perfect. It scrapes surfaces clean without leaving any marks. Stan
