If I just unbolt the flange for the pulley/blade bearing does it just come apart or do I have to have the bearing pressed?

bearing will need to be pressed out
might get away with a Vice to do it
one of mine needed 10 tons to pop it off for one spindle

Jeff, Be sure and take the pulley off and the key out before you start pressing, otherwise you will break you housing.
