I have a 1966 60 that has been short blocked with a VH70 short block but it doesn't have the SBV tag on it and I need the flywheel key, it has a 1/2 moon key and I can't seem to locate one. Any help on identifying the SBV # would be appreciated.

It would be the same key as a VH70 would of had. The original Tecumseh part number is 32582 but I do not think it is a moon key. Do a Google web search for that part number and you should have no problem finding one. That is the key used by my short blocked VH70. Roger

I did a little more looking and the short block number is SBV231 and the part number for the key from JD is M44418 and is still available. Roger

Thanks Roger, I work at a JD dealership and no one a JD Co. its old enough to know about these models and my Tecumseh distributor said they couldn't help me with a SBV#.
