I did some forum searches but didn't find what I was looking for. Has anyone identified a suitable replacement transmission safety switch. The only thing that I came up with on JD Parts was what I believe to be the whole mechanism (at least for $95 it should be).

My 110 has the mechanical parts to activate the switch but the switch is gone. Just an empty hole where it's supposed to be located.

TIA,
Jim

Jim , someone here, don't know who had posted something about this a while ago so I arm not taking credit for it, but I used a switch from a 140 which is still available. If I recall it is is somewhere around $15 - $20 I have done it for my 65 and 66 110s. Let me know if you can't find the pn and I ll dig it up for you..

Thanks Bill. Also for the installed picture you sent separately. I found one listed in the 140 parts so that may be the easiest way to fix the issue. In case anyone else is searching, AM118907 Switch Kit - SWITCH KIT, KIT, NEUTRAL START SWIT is the description. Online price is listed in JDPARTS as ~$21.

NOTE: I have not verified that this one actually works but it looks promising as Bill suggested.

Thanks again for the help,

Jim

Jim that is it. I wrote a thread on it over on MTF with a better picture last year. At the time I had not tested under normal conditions but since then I have used it on two 110s one through the wet slushy snow on a 110 used for snow plowing .
