anyone know were to get the diodes, does the tractor need these to run

I don't think deere carries them. I have also went to a good electrical store and picked them up. And no the 60 or 70 does not have to have them to run. But if you have a booster charger on and using it to start REMOVE THEM as they will blow.

thanks for the info have a 71 model 70 and cant get spark have everything new and no spark

I have had to take fine emery to new points like they had a glaze on them .
