I've been wanting to turn one of my 70's into a trike. I bought a front end that was built for a 110-112, with 6" rims. Now I'm wondering if 4" rims would be better suited? I intend to get 20-10-8 bars for the rear, that will help with extra room under the front when the tractor is level. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks in advance, Kevin

There was, or is, a kit to make this conversion. I have seen one done on a 100, so a 70 should be a fit, also. I saw pictures of this 100; the front tires were small to fit under the front end. The rear tires were stock tires.
My only input, because I have hills, would be to avoid this mod. In tipping, just a little, the brakes wont work because of the differential rear end. If this is for show, or flat lands, then Id be all for it.
I have to drive straight up/down hills, even on my 4 wheels, in order to stop.
If you are going to raise your center of balance, I would think that this would be even worse than sticking with your stock rear wheel size.
Good luck on your build
