might be easier to get a used one on ebay

Are you sure the linkage is not sloppy and adjusted correctly?

Did you refill it and see if any air has been removed?

Lonnie,
I rebuilt my pump on my 1975 300 you need am lean work area some brass punches to remove some pins, and a couple sockets and wrenches for the bolts that hold it together. Mine only needed the implement relief and charge relief valves, cones. If you are going to do this the parts ae also available thru Sauer Danfoss allot cheaper then Deere.

Lonnie-
That should be the Tuff Torque tranny in those I believe. I have a service manual for the K92 tranny that would probably be of some help to you. It shows the break down of the insides and I believe it is almost identical to the one in the Deere 4X5 tractors.

The transmission in the 4x5 series is indeed Tuff Torq, K91 exactly. The K92 is pretty close to the K91, so that manual should work out okay.

Guys, I'm moving this to the proper forum.

The problem with the K91 is that finding a manual is nearly impossible. Tuff Torq doesn't even show the K91 on their website. Must have been built specifically for John Deere.

Gonna throw this out there for input. I already have a '72 110 manual lift, which is my mower/snow removal machine, but I have opportunity to buy a '71 110 8HP Kohler manual lift.
I have a '69 112H 10HP Kohler project tractor that's been sitting in the shed for couple years. It's really rough & needs a lot of work.
The '71 110 runs and just needs maintenance items (I think).
My thought would be to transfer the hydraulic lift from the 112 to the 110 and I was wondering if anyone has done this.
1. Is it just plug & play?
2. If I need to fab parts? I'm not a welder and would have to sub it out.

I plan on looking on JD parts to see if there are any obvious differences and do some more research in the search area here.
Plus have to talk the Mrs. into financing.
and find the time to do it.
Thanks

I think the k181 and k241 have different heads, and the pump won't bolt on directly.

If you want to make it work, I do have a complete hydraulic setup in the classifieds. It might be cheaper then a whole tractor.

KB,
You're right. 7 as compared to 9. Realized that once I looked at the parts diagrams.
Have to look at the mounting plate for the pump now.

If it ends up not being practical, I'll use the money on the 112H.
