If you are not fussy for a specific model year you can buy them new from a JD dealer. Welcome to WFM. Roger

JD dealer would have the newer, stainless type with the 2 legged deere logo etched in the center.
The older 8" chrome style with the 'John Deere' lettering in a circular pattern in the center seem to be tough to find. Same 12" type are all over the auction web site.

I HAVE THE ORIGINAL ONES THAT CAME WITH THE TRACTOR WITH THE JOHN DEERE LETTERING IN THE CIRCULAR PATTERN.. ARE THEY RARE?

They did 2 different styles, ones with a white ring around the letters, and one with just the raises letters with no white.

I woudlnt say either is rare, but finding a real nice set to put on a restored tractor can be tough, but there are still ones new in the box out there if you want to pay collector price.
