I was wondering if someone would tell me what Fram oil filter would fit in my 316 with a 18 HP, P motor?

The Deere gods want over $8.00 for there filter ( WOW )

I believe the John Deere filter you need is an AM101207. I personally don't use Fram filters. I use WIX#51348 which I believe to be a good filter and I get a deal on them. I think the Fram number you are looking for is a PH7575 but you should have the store check that to make sure. The prices I am seeing that Fram filter is about $7.00. If it were me I in your case I think I would prefer the John Deere filter no more extra than it costs. Just my opinion.

hey john how are you liking the open frame 316 compared to your 300? did you get an h2 kit for it yet.....might be able to get a deal if you buy two, one for the 314 and one for the 316.

Andy The 87/316 is a great mowing tractor with the 50 deck. It steers nice too!
Im not going to mess with anything on it. I did pick up a 317 parts tractor and will use the H-2 parts for my 314 ( It has brand new Super lugs on it )! I am going to pick up a 78 316 from a WFM member ,it will get a face lift and maybe the 49 mounted on it for the winter.
