I went to add a new set of rings to my 68 K301 today with std type A piston and found that it had a one piece oil ring. The 236763 Kohler set has a 4 piece oil ring. Wondering what problems, if any, that could create? This tractor was an oily mess. Previous owner had "glued" the breather gaskets for a reason. I have been looking for a cause and other than pan bolts being little more than handtight, haven't found a smoking gun.
