My newly acquired '67 112 has aftermarket head lights.

I think I will leave them on, and add an aftermarket tail light also. Does anyone have a source for a pedestal mount tail light that would be a little similar to OEM's?

Terry you can buy after market AC tail lights the are exactly the same except the wiring doen't go through the mounting stud but comes out the bottom of the housing. Roger

Terry do a Google Image search for Allis Chalmers tail light and you will find a number of places for them. I see them all the time at farm/tractor shows and swap meets. I hate to say one vender is better than another when I suspect they are all made in the same place. I like to buy them when I can touch them and that is why I prefer swap meets. Roger

Yeah, I found them, a bit pricey though.

My old A/C has the same light as the 110 JD. The wire is through the stud not out the back.

Terry they will seem really cheap if you price a real JD one. Generally I find the prices on these type of things 10 to 25 percent cheaper at a tractor show. Sometimes more. Roger

If I'm going to spend that type of money, I would rather drop a few more dollars and get a JD one.

The original ones for the John Deere and Allis Chalmers were both made by Guide Lamp in Anderson Indiana . The only difference was the color they were painted when the order was placed.

I can confirm to you Terry, that the light shown above that Roger has shown, is actually smaller than the original tail light that was offered for the 110's. As you can also see, the lense is not correct either. The originals were more flatter than that of the pointed type also shown above. Just giving you the heads up before you purchase one of these and find that you may be disappointed after you spend the money.

Originals show up from time to time on ebay if you keep an eye out for them. Can't be a bit expensive, but how much is it worth to you in finding an original?
