I have always used my angle grinder to sharpen my blades, but it is difficult to get the angle correct. I have been looking at the All American Shapener model 5005. I think looks like a great concept and appears it would work very well. Does anyone have one, or have used one? I would love some feedback.
I'm looking at the model 5005 as it has the most adjustment for different styles of blades.
The Model 5005 was developed, by request, for customers that have specific needs for mower blade angles. It will adjust and lock at angles from 15 to 45 degrees, in 5 degree increments. The 15 degree angle is the lowest angle needed to sharpen the mulching section of a bi-level mulching blade, and 4
I have also seen the Chinese knock offs of this design on amazon. They are way cheaper, but it really annoys me the way they outright steal and copy designs that others put so much work into developing. A lot of them even use pictures and the instructions straight from All American Sharpener. I just can't bring my self to support that.
Let me know what you guys think.
