They may or may not have dirt in them from fishing them through. the big one I taped the ends off. Wasn't thinking but anyway what is the sure way to make sure there is nothing in them? Brake clean then air maybe?
Be careful using brake cleaner. It’s not good on some paints. All new hoses should be blown out to ensure there is no foreign material in them before installing. Some shops use a chop saw to cut the hoses. Definitely can leave remnants in the hose.
