My 74 140 H1 has a break pedal that is stuck. It won't release and come back to the resting position, but the other (outer) pedal depresses and comes back just fine. The tractor doesn't run like the brake is on. Any suggestions?

First, is a return spring broken on one side? if not

pb blaster, and work the pedal alot.

either that, or disassemble, the brake rotating shafts, clean and grease them

Scott, check the springs on each side (item #2 in the attached picture". Maybe the one on the sticking side is weak or missing.
