I just got this 318 and noticed that the lower right hand mounting stud hinge was broken, I wonder how you guys have made the repairs...

When I got my 318, the fwd right hinge studs were also broken off. Both studs tore off from the hood but were still connected to each other. I sanded up both surfaces to be glued with 80 grit, and then cleaned with acetone. I used Plexus MA310 methacrylate adhesive to bond the chunk of fiberglass holding the studs back onto the hood. It seems bulletproof. I can post a pic if needed.

I've used JB Weld ( lasted over 5 years ), but the last one I glassed with reinforce fiberglass tape. I think that is the best way!

For mine I used Bondo fiberglass filler...

It's a new repair then I don't know yet if it's strong enough.

I fabricated the stud mounts with a piece of wood and then I used JB-WELD to glue it together, I'll post a picture after it cures ...
