Anything can be done with enough time, money and fabrication skills. I don't remember anyone doing it successfully on this forum. I suspect it would be cheaper to sell the 420 and buy a 425 and you would have a better engine in the trade also. Roger

If I remember correctly, somebody rigged up foot controls as two electric buttons that controlled a linear actuator, that moved the transmission control rod back and forth. One button for forward, the other for reverse. Of course, such a system would not have the same feel as a direct foot pedal actuator.

Glenn Peterson did a foot pedal hydro (not the electric one above, I think thats documented in the technical archives on here some where)



He also repowered it with a Kawi, made it hydraulic front wheel assist, home made wheel weights, pull his home made 3 bottom semi mount plow...
