Evening everyone. I'm hoping for some positive feedback on my next move updating my H1 to H3.

My tractor is a 1971 (Serial #035830M) 140H1, that I want to convert to 3-spool.

Can I update this with complete H3 hydraulics that come from a -30,000 without major problems?

I have a spare 3-spool valve on hand.

I would really appreciate your assistance.
Dom

Update: I pulled the trigger and bought the H3 kit. There should be minimal conversion issues if any. http://www.ebay.com/itm/151428926077

You need the kit from 30-50,000. They have a single valve body to connect to the levers. After 50,000 they went back to 2 valve bodies. The one from 10,000-30,000 might work too, but I'm not sure.

Thanks for the feedback, JWM.
The seller listed the item incorrectly, stating it was compatible -30,000. This is why I bought it.

I brought this to his attention (and my being "new" to John Deere) and explained the kit would not work for my needs. I awoke this AM and had gotten a full refund.

If you are a member (the seller) here, thank you

KB, I have the valve you mention. I actually only need the levers and hard lines.
