Just bought a 2004 GT245 with manual deck lift. The pedal seem to be bottomed out and will only lift the deck about an inch and then only the back. everything seems to be hooked up underneath and the spring adjustment from the bumper is set right. it seems as thought I should have a lot more travel on the pedal and be able to lift the deck off the ground. there also seems to be a lot of weight on the deck wheels. Almost like the tractor isnt carrying the deck. Any help would be appreciated
I own a GT245 as well but my deck lift is a large lever by the hood.
If you have too much weight on the deck wheels then the deck wheels need to be adjusted. They should not ride on the ground when the deck is lowered.Sorry I could not help you with your lift issue.
Maybe someone else will chime in with the same style lift.
