I have a deluxe seat suspension that I am going to rebuild this winter. Did a search and one way to fix is to put a 1/2" rod in place of the bushings. Went on JDparts to the breakdown of the seat and did'nt see any bushings. My question is where do you get these bushings and what is the actual size? I think they are 3/8" i.d.x 1/2"o.d.x ? long. Any input will be appreciated. Thanks

When you put in the 1/2" rod, there isn't room for the bushings. Which is a good thing, because the whole reason you're doing the rebuild is because the bushings break. Bad design in my opinion. Anyway, if you're worried about rust or the rods sticking, you can install grease fittings. I did.
