Hi guys.

What diameter headlight is in a 140? Has anyone swapped them out for a set of LED headlights?

The cutouts in the black plastic are about 3" but the original headlights themselves are about 3 3/4 inches.

Doug,

In bulb talk, the original bulbs are known as size " PAR 36 ".

So to find a comparable LED search " PAR 36 LED " and you will find many.

I would think a combo lamp having Flood/Spot would work the best but this is just a guess !

It"ll be less strain on your minimal charging system. I use LED tail lights on my 140 and also thinking of going that way with the headlights. My '69 K321 only puts out 10 amps.

I did rear LED's on my 120 that I got at Napa. They are bright and draw very little. I also has the 10 amp charging system. I am still looking for headlight options. I guess I am waiting for someone else to do investigation.
