I searched but didn't bring anything up. I'm sure it's been brought up before but does anyone have a fix for early 140 leaking rear axle seals? Deere no longer carries them and they leaking drives me crazy. Not to mention hygaurd isn't cheap.

NAPA sells a seal that works. I think I have a box with the part # at home. The Deere seal number is AT11676, they can match the number.

Pretty easy to change. I used JDPArts to see how it was all put together.

I didn't even think to try napa. We've got one her in my little town. I'll slide by there Saturday and see what they can come up with. Thanks a bunch. This forum has been a lot of help to me.

Found the box, NAPA seal #15517. I paid $10.01 for one.
