Good morning guys,
I've been working on a 425. It's a '94, so the carb is vent solenoid.
Let's assume components (fuel/electrics/compression) are in spec.
One thing I did notice is there is supposed to be a fuel tank "check valve". My tank doesn't have the hose or check valve, not do I see any fittings to attach hoses. I checked the manual and the manual states the 425 with the carburetor vent solenoid should have no tank cap vent. My cap is vented (tiny hole in cap)
Would having a vented cap on a fuel system not supposed to have a vented cap, cause idle/engine problems?
Pg 3-10 from the manual.
