Favorite chemical paint stripper

I've asked about spray guns, powder coat and media blasting, so I'll also ask a related question:
What's your favorite chemical paint stripper/brand, not counting brake fluid and oven cleaner?

None.

Paint stripper is the nastiest crap I've ever used. It's a mess to use and a mess to clean up. Once was enough for me.

Zip Strip Yellow and black can. You need to was two to three times after use.
The panels? Or yourself & everything?
Keep in mind it doesn’t work or work well on powdercoat. It does work very well on paint. Timing is kind of key, if left too long it evaporates and gets hard again, too short and it doesn’t have enough time. I like to apply, wait for it to start bubbling and then reapply. It’s great for the nooks and crannies that are tough to get to. I like the stuff but it is very messy and slightly dangerous as it will burn you badly and fumes are not friendly.

So left too long starts to dry and harden again. Makes me wonder what the ideal temps, humidity and if done out of direct sunlight are factors to take into consideration.

All the new stuff is pretty lame. My wife picks up cans of methylene chloride stripper when she sees them at estate sales...cheap! But, for large panels and fenders, the paint stripping grinder pads are fast and leave a good surface.
Ah ha!! Yes I just referred to that in the other post (didn’t recall the name). 👍🏻👍🏻
Methylene Chloride was banned by EPA in Nov 2019. Can't be made or imported. Bad stuff and required a respirator. All the good strippers contained it. Most cans still look the same except are missing that ingredient. The new "formulations" just are not nearly as good. When I initially ran out in 2021, I tried the new stuff and it was worse than having R134a in your AC!

This what I use. The brand is like a lot of products these days. Unknown. The '5 layers' claim on the label is bullshit. It works really slow and requires coarse steel wool and lots elbow grease to get anything done in a timely fashion. The stuff I used before was much better.

Last year, I used "2 minute stripper" to remove some ugly old "camo" paint from an airgun I had just purchased. That just ate the paint right off. Slather it in, leave for a few minutes, and wipe down. Took it righ off the gun stock and barrel with no problem. I do recommend some thick rubber gloves when using it.
