I went to local hardware store and bought two different sizes. Large ones 2 per hole one above and one below and then smaller, I think it took 3 per hole to equal the plate thickness. For the smaller ones the out side dimension was too big. I put them on a bolt which I chucked in a drill and ran against belt sander to get the size I needed.
