Just added a 430 to the heard, as I start fixing a couple of areas that need attention Ive come to the realization that the front pto clutch is bad I done a couple of tests and it has to come off. The question is , Is it as hard as it looks to get the clutch off and out, or there any short cuts an air cooled gut could use on a water cooled motor. Thanks Brian

its basically the same as a 420 but some parts are harder to reach but doable.

I ve taken a clutch off a 430 that already had the radiator removed, no problem. Mr short cut is trying to thing of a way to do it with out doing all of that. Or should I bite the bullet and drain the system, remove the radiator and just get over with.

I haven't done it yet, but I was looking at replacing the pto belts. What is required to pull the fan and shaft? I replaced my pto pulley buy stretching the hoses a bit, to move the radiator for clearance. Let us know.
