heater on a 65

found this at a junk auction yesterday.didnt know deere put leg warmers on the 65s.or is it a reverse thruster in case you lose the brakes?

Maybe it was a stack at one point that drooped down....

i thought of that too,but it wont turn any farther clockwise.i can only imagine how hot that was to drive.
