Last night after mowing with my 18 hp Vangard repowered 317, I cleaned and dried it as usual. It has started fine all winter for snow plowing and now for mowing. After its bath, I went to start it to put it away. When I turned the key, it was if someone had stolen my battery...nothing. No click, no lights, nothing. So I figured it must be a loose connection somewhere. The battery is new and checks 12 volts. The ground cable was a little loose, so I made sure it was clean, and tightened it. I checked the other end at the motor and that was tight. I checked the positive cable and that was tight at both ends. Next I went to the circuit breaker, and that was OK. All wires seem to be ok and connected. Could the ignition switch be bad, causing it to have no power to anything? I'm running out of ideas of things to check. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks, Mike

Washed it plain and. simple system it is wet and 9/10 times a washed and bathed tractor won't start, let it dry out in the sun for a day or 2 then try starting it, If your ignition switch is bad it is probably cause water snuck inside of it open the hood and panels and go to work for the day then try starting it
