I run the yellow hydro fluid in my 430
Had a plow hose break and don't have enough to fill.
I have some of the red can though
Are they the same? Can I mix the 2 or do I go to dealer and get yellow jug?

They should be compatible fluids. You may want to call the dealer to verify. How much do you need to add?

Looked at both cans and they had same JD number
I'm thinking the maroon was an older version

I did not look at the PN nor the description. One is an old label. Yes both are LOW VIS so should be good to go!

Did you notice that one has two languages. When did John Deere start that? Would help with dating of fluid. I see no difference in the two fluids other than date of manufacture.

Likely the later/newer one is the bilingual label.
