This is a repaired hood for the John Deere Models 425, 445 and the 455. It had a small chip on the front right corner. This has been repaired using aircraft grade filler. I also reinforced the "pegs" or bolt posts that attach the hinges to the hood. This was done with aviation grade T-88 epoxy. A new padding gasket was also installed. It should be a stronger hood than a factory new one.
The paint job is lacking, if you're critical you will probably want to repaint the hood. No repairs are visible from the outside of the hood. A good paint job would make it like a new one.
My local dealership wants over $500.00 for a new hood, the cheapest ones on eBay are $399.00! These are extremely hard to find.
Asking $200.00 plus shipping from Cincinnati, OH.
