Travis, I got the package and worked on making a pattern, here are some photos.

Do you know if the 330 and 322 also use the hood insulation?

I plan to offer these thru WFM classified section after I make fine tune the process and figure a price.

I tried removing the mylar in one example shown above to make it look more original.

I also have not decided whether to offer either the PSA (peel and stick adhesive style) with the cross thread reinforced mylar, or just the type that uses spray adhesive.

Any preferences out there? What do you think?

JRL,
I have a 322 with the hood insulation, the foam is presently covered up with foil tape to help keep the heat from entering back into the radiator. So count me in if you make these, thank you! I would think the reinforced mylar would hold up better to the hood being open and closed countless times. Just my two cents.

John, my 330 has the same pad. Bob Sylvester's photo shows the places the foam contacts things.
Key contact points I can see on my hood pad are:

1. At the front, where it contacts the edge of a sheet metal baffle.
2. On the sides of the radiator top tank.
3. The two bevelled edges at the rear that touch flat flanges on the pedestal sheet metal.

I'd call the reinforced pad material "definitely desirable." "Looking original" is not a factor in my book. My tractors earn their keep as worker bees, and better quality than OEM is a plus. Might be better to attach with spray adhesive vs. self-stick, particularly if you furnish these slightly oversize at the rear bevels. Which is more durable?

I need to order a 318 baffle from you, so would be in the market to buy one for the 330 as well, although what's on the tractors is still functional, although looking tatty in non-critical areas.

Looks like you got the answer from the 330 and the 322 and since you got it from a 332 it works for all of those. I am a fan as well of going better then OEM. Don't know if it came with the mylar on it but I would say ship with the glue on it with mylar. As always-you do a great job with this and just made some 332/330/322 owners happy to replace there aging foam (including me).

Sorry for being a little slow getting this project going, I've been really busy driving semi trucks for my neighbor during harvest. I should be thru with doing that very soon though.

Then I will post prices and details. I need to write up instructions for instalation also for the install of these pieces.
