I've been tinkering with governor on lx188 I think I have it close but still not right. Or at least it sounds close until I turn the blades on or start up a hill. Any insight would be very much appreciated
I have a 178 15hp twin water cooled Kawasaki. Seems like I turned the governor shaft CCW and pulled the arm in the same direction and tightened the bolt, I marked the governor shaft before taking the arm off. Same place now. Fuel pump started leaking and I put a pulse type off of a briggs @ stratton. Save a lot of tractor hunting money
