Its a 1971 model. I got this a couple weeks ago. It would crank really nice, but would not start even with starting fluid. I went through the carb, new fuel line as well. It still would not start. I swapped out the spark plug and it started right up.
Paint job is a 20 footer. Deck is in nice shape. Rear notch in fender deck was enlarged to twice its normal size by one of the PO's.
Runs good, but I am going to change the engine and hydro oil. It had been sitting for several years when I got it, but luckily indoors.
I did not need another tractor, but the price was too good to pass up.

Nice! I just did the same. Didn't need another tractor but found a '68 140 for a good price and couldn't say no. Enjoy!
