I have been wanting a loader for a while. This one was about 1.5 hours away. A little too big to fit on my 5x8 trailer so I borrowed my Buddy's trailer and off I went. Its a 1973 140 h-3 with a Johnson 12a loader. Also came with the tiller, wheel weights, chains, brand new front tires, and battery.
The loader is in good shape overall. It is very responsive up and down and the bucket tilts well also.
The tiller looks like it was used for a counterweight most of its life. Tines are in good shape with very little rust.

Nice package. I had a 12a and 33 tiller on my first 140.

Once the new car smell wears off, you will be wishing you have power steering.

Not worried about the power steering. Of my five tractors only my 318 has it. I know it would be nice with the loader, but I will survive without it. I have a little power steering with the suicide knob. lol!

It's staying right where it is. I will look for a 44 if I ever want one for the 318. I am no fabricator and I think it would be more work than its worth.
