I am repainting the fender deck on my 322 and am looking for ideas for foot treads. I have used the precut grip tape ones from JD and also spray on bed liner. Just interested in other ideas/options for foot treads. Eric

Once I think I saw diamond plate treads on ebay. Some diamond aluminum plating that is bolted down would be really nice (so no glue to come back off and-you can remove to pant as needed. If diamond plating wasn't so expensive and if I had a better way to cleanly cut I would made a couple sets for myself.

Hey Eric,
For my 332, I picked up some stair tread no slip strips. A pair does both sides, and they have a yellow caution strip, which you can incorporate, or not depending how you cut out the shape you need. I bought it from Lowes.
I think diamond plate would still be to slippery when wet or muddy.

I used Herculiner roll on bedliner from Menards and I think it turned out really nice and it was very easy. It's been on for a year and still looks like the day I put it on.

Thanks for ideas so far. I am thinking of trying some rubber matting cut to fit. I have used roll on bedliner and it worked well until the powder coat paint underneath let go, the reason for the repaint

I made my own with a kind of plastic last summer.
I cut some grooves with a table saw with the blade at 45 degree angle.

For the bottom ones I add drain holes at every corners hidden under the plastic.

I like them they are not slippery and my shoes can't reach the paint all around and between them.

I had self stick strips for RV running boards laying around and made these. They are at least 1/4" thick with deep grooves. They work well with tractor show mud but this tractor doesn't push snow any more. One of the few un-original type things on the tractor, but I think they would work better and longer than the original type as a user.
