TSC until recently got their paint from Valspar who makes JDs paint. Not sure who TSC is getting their paint from now. There are 2 colors sold for JD green. AG Green and Classic Green. AG is the color used on garden tractors. Classic is what was used on big two cylinder tractor. The JD sold paint seems to look nice longer than any other paint I have used. Roger
I wana say the TSC brand is BPS which is what AGCO uses on there tractor brands. TSC only has one kind from what I've seen but don't think it's AG paint. Is one darker than the other or different shade all together?
AG is darker and Classic is lighter and has more yellow in it. When TSC used Valspar the color they sold was in between the two real JD colors. That is one reason to buy the paints from JD. Roger
Joel I think the yellow are all the same. Some tractor look different from fading. Some RFs also have a blue green colored paint from the battery acid leaking. Some were also a completely different color. This is my 1966 which was this color under a later green paint job. Roger
I took a part I painted with TSC paint and held it up to my 275 and can't see a difference. I know there's a color difference in the new stuff and old stuff.
