I have a 1972 JD 140 with a 4 way front blade. It's able to go up and down, but angle does not work. It's not the blade angle cylinder as I connected it to other side and it angles fine. Could it be H3 levers? Thank you for your help!
I just resolved the problem this past weekend! Pulled H3 levers out, cleaned and put new bushings in. Then used PB to free up Spool Valve. Everything works like new now! Love these old machines! They'll last forever! Thank you!
Thanks for follow up.
I will need to check mine as the up down works but very slow and angle works fine. Will need to switch and see how that works, then can troubleshoot more.
It is amazing what removing the levers, cleaning everything and replacing the bushings does for the H3 levers. I did it on mine and they now feel too loose after what I was use to.
