My spindles where scored fairly deep. I welded up the grooves and hand finished them with a small grinder and a file. I'm not home right now and I don't remember which width I got, I think it was the wide ones. They fit on real good with the bearings they sell and some spacers. I am using the original size tire on them. Will eventually switch over to a higher quality bearing but theirs are still ok. Basically they are minibike bearings.
Rick
Tim only if you find a good used set of spindles from a 60, 70 or 100 lawn tractor. Garden tractors are different. I see them from time to time on E-Bay. Roger
Roger, took your advice on looking on ebay...I found a new old set, still had JD factory tags on them. I may have my old ones welded back up and reconditioned as a back up.
Thank you again!
