Steve,

Great scores on the 44 loaders!! In addition to a different pump drive for the 420 front PTO compared to a 318 tractor, you would need a longer sub-frame for the loader, I believe. The rest of it would be the same...

The 30 tiller is hydraulic, yes? Is it a belly drive unit or a rear drive with the second (rear) PTO arrangement? If the latter, it also would work on your 420. Pictures please....

chuck check out the rear mower deck .i never seen one like this before . runs of the rear pto . 60 inch heavy duty wheels . if you have the loader on you can mow from the rear ...
The pump on the tiller is much different from the loader pump -- tiller pump is 9 GPM and 2000 PSI max. The loader pump is 5.25 GPM and rated at 1000 PSI as I recall.

The loader pump is part number PT9200 for the 318, 322, 332 and is a clockwise rotation. The loader pump for a 420 or 430 needs to be a counter-clockwise rotation and is part number PT9201.

And yes, the 260 rear grooming mower runs off the 2000 RPM gear reduction rear PTO/drive and can be used in conjunction with front attachments or the loader if mounted. Does the second 318 tractor in the pictures -- the one with the weight box -- have a rear PTO of any kind fitted to it? Can't really tell much from the pictures, but it does not appear to have a 3-pt on that one.

only one has a 3 point hitch and rear 2000 rpm pto ..other one just has a weight box ..
That’s a good score. I wouldn’t mind that 260 mower if your selling.

you have a vast array of knowledge pretty amazing .. thats how i am with stuff as i go along ,and spend year with it .. Rome was not built in a day
Steve,

Just another piece of information for the 44 loader -- even thought the pump is rated to 1000 PSI, the working pressure is set by the relief valve. JD parts lists two separate part numbers for the 44 relief valve. PN PT9207 (625 PSI) for 3xx series, and PN PT9206 (700 PSI) for 4xx series.
